I love how 'experts' come out every so often and talk up the social impact on people from such things as beauty pagents. If these are the worst things teenage girls do, then the world would be a better place, cetainly a better looking one. The best ones are the Australian experts who talk as if they have some sort of influence over anything on the world stage.
Get over yourselves dickheads

I think the issue is more with the parents who drive their children into these events with massive dollar signs in their eyes.
