CANCER?..................... YEAH.

Everywhere I look are fucking pink ribbons, pink bottles, pink bags, pink cans, pink tim tams, all spuiking up breast cancer. Now while it is a very seroius and noble cause to be associated with, isn't it becoming a little bit over the top. Where are the promotions for bowel cancer or testicular cancer?? Nowhere!! It seems chicks are getting a easy ride with this, while blokes are getting nothing. Guys are dying all over the shop and birds are getting all the publicity (and treatment) because the've got a glamour as their spokesperson.
Boycott all pink ribbon products and complain to the makers of the them, ask them why they don't have brown ribbons on all their products (bowel cancer obviously).
Blokes must be heard on this issue!!

Don't you mean "Cancer - get out of here?".

I'm a bit miffed too about it - I wonder how much it cost Arnott's too change their packaging to pink? Was it worth more or less than the lousy 10c from each packet sold that's going to the cause.

Even with my Oxfam walks (which I'm now retired from) I would donate $200 but the actual event would cost me about a grand when you take into account new shoes, airfares, food, accomodaton etc - it would be better to just write a check.

I guess I wouldn't be able to fleece my mates without doing the walk though.

There's no doubt Arnott's are gaining more than what they are donating but at least they are SEEN to be doing something which is better than just actually doing it.
