Am I missing something here, how are all these tram accidents happening? Are the drivers of the seoncd tram expecting the front ones to get out of the way? It's not like a tram can be in your blind spot and suddenly side swipe you. Tram drivers only need to look one way, forward, and if they can't see another tram directly ahead of them, what are they doing driving trams??
I guess trams are wired a bit like dodgem cars, maybe that's what's going on.
