As we say goodbye to the former Governor-General Michael Jeffery, I can't help but ask the question - What the fuck do these people do??
Nevermind that, why do they earn a lifetime's worth of free stuff and perks for doing a job for a couple of years? Free first class domestic air travel, a staff member, a furnished CBD office, serviced vehicles, guards, chauffeured cars and taxis, and free magazine subscriptions. All of this irregardless of whether they actually did a good job, how would we know?
Great work if you can get it, but hardly value for money for your ordinary taxpayer.
