Anyone who watched American Idol this season would've have seen perhaps the best performer ever to be on the show, Adam Lambert, he came second in yesterday's final. The bloke who won it (Kris) shouldn't have made the top 8, let alone top 4, top 2 and certainly did not deserve to win the contest. Typically, the American dickheads voted for the All-American boy next door instead of the bloke who was consistently the standout performer every single week of the competition. Middle America has spoken, "give us the boring, not very talented, non-offensive boy, instead of the charismatic superstar who wears nail polish and may be a touch fruity."
Every time you forget how stupid Americans are, they find a way to remind you.

When it's up for popular vote the best never wins. If the guy who came second is any good he'll start outselling the winner just like Shannon Noll is outselling Guy Sebastian - but then agin I thought neither of them are any good.
Incidentally speaking of popularity contests see in Masterchef a bloke gets voted off by a guy who served up raw chicken but says in his reasoning that because the guy didn't know how to produce a classic beef carpaccio he should go. I'd rather the guy learn how to cook chicken before he starts telling others how they can't cook - this comp needs the judges to do the firing as this show is a farce!
