GC 17
Where does it say the GC 17 has to be good from Year 1? Then why are they being spoon fed by the AFL to the detriment of the rest of the competition. Their draft concessions are way too much and will hurt the lower placed clubs for years to come. At least we can hope that Western Sydney is a relocated team that won't get as much of a free ride.

Anything that helps the demise of North Melbourne I'm all for.
What will they give Western Sydney? Nobody will turn up there even if they win 3 flags in the first 3 years - worst decision ever AFL, give Tassie a go and rock Hawthorns ship a bit while you're at it.
I don't agree with Tim Lane often but he's spot on about Hawthorn turning their fortunes around on the back of the Tasmanian Govt. A couple of school programs here and there is chicken feed in comparison Jeff Kennett so don't think you're doing them that many favours.
