Why oh why do our networks fuck around with the originals? Masterchef Australia has NOTHING in common with it's British parent apart from it's name. It's more an amalgam of Top Chef, Masterchef and even Hell's Kitchen. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad show, but if you are going to buy the naming rights of a show, at least make it a little bit like the original.
A thing they definately should've taken from the original is the lack of a host, why is this woman here, she does nothing, isn't great looking and fairly crap at hosting. Get rid of her now, the show doesn't need a host and the blokes on it talk more than enough.

I agree, and I've said it out aloud a few times - it's basically the Biggest Loser in a kitchen.
Voting out your peers? Shouldn't that be done by the judges?
Red teams vs Blue team? Why not judge by individuality like real MasterChef?
Why do the contestants in Aussie reality shows have to be best mates with every one? I can't understand how people who've known each other for days can cry and take the same amount of days to get over someone getting voted off!
MasterChef is a great show as it's all about the cooking with a couple of terrific judges/hosts who couldn't care less about anything other than the food and the potential of the wannabe chefs - plus how good is it to hear that bald bloke go "Corrrrr" over a good mushroom sauce?
MasterChef Australia is poor in comparison and worse than all the shows mentioned by the Blogspert.
Another thing about this show - the contestants vote each other out! How on earth does this leave the best chef as the winner? Once again we'll be subject to alliances and twists and turns to determine the winner, btu after watching the best cook from last week get the chop I've no doubt the winner will be the most popular not the best chef.
We also get to see the ousted contestant arrive back at home for a piss up, and amazingly this guy has returned to the profession he was in prior to joining the show and hopes to one day realise his dream of running a restaurant! No shit! It seems Masterchef has changed this bloke's life immensely.
Those two blokes on the real Masterchef show in Britain would be experiencing some severe heartburn after watching this rubbish.
It's just a crap show which had so much potential it's sad it's become what it has.
