As one of the few people who actually read his article before forming an opinion, let me say that he make a good point, then loses his way about half way through and never recovers.
All he's saying is that it would be extremely difficult for a current day footballer to come out, he's not saying he's against it or anything of the sort.
All these loud mouth dickheads who have come out today (not that way) and blasted him should actually have a read before they make their ill-informed opinions.
Yes, I know that's rich coming from me!
By the way, when did Daniel Kowalski come out??? I must have been away that day.

I haven't read the article but assumed this was what he meant.
It's amazing that it's always "other" people being offended on behalf of the people who these comments might mean something to. Why should Paul Roos or the Western Bulldogs have to be offended on behalf of gay people who haven't come out of the closet - it's got nothing to do with them unless they are also gay. It's like people who aren't soldiers being offended by Malthouse's comments after the ANZAC game last year. It certainly wasn't the RSL offended so why should other people be?
I'm so sick of political correctness, it has certainly made Australia a less enjoyable place to be around. If the political correct society could let people in general know (especially white, straight blokes) what they can and can't discuss or joke about that would make it alot easier on schmo's like me who is too scared to say anything nowadays for fear of a public backlash.
I'm surprised Kawolski hasn't asked his good mate Thorpey to do the same as he did.
Amen Seco.
Thanks Mrs B!
