With all due respect to David Cloke and what he and his family have contributed to our great game, the man is a complete and utter fuckwit. He is a distraction for his son and clearly has no concept of what it takes to be a player manager.
Good on him for looking out for his son, but he should be leaving some things to the professionals.

Totally disagree Bowie. When you say leave it to the professionals I gather you are referring to vultures like Ricky Nixon? If you take what he said in context it read ok. If the Pies won't come to play well into the draft he goes. Just a simple fact there really, not outlandish. Big forwards like Cloke don't grow on trees and as bad a kick as he may be I know 16 sides that would sign him up in a flash.
That may be true Elks, but maybe his dad should not state the obvious and say he'll end up in the draft.
Most Collingwood fans love Clokey, but all would be questioning Cloke Sr's approach here. It's not necessary, he's always been difficult to deal with and part of me thinks he's playing a bit of payback on Mick and Collingwood for how his two other boys ended up. I reckon it ain't helping Travis at all.
I reckon Trav should stop pouting, put his head down and work on the one flaw in his game that prevents him from being an all time great player. The leadership stuff, the money and everything else will come, he'd be able to write his own ticket if he kicked 65% instead of 45%.
At the moment he's looking like someone who won a flag and wants to cash in.
That leadership demand stuff was a bit out there.
I don't think it is wise for parents to be managers for their sons.
