Let's all hope that the Australian version of Iron Chef is as bad as other remakes attempted in recent years. Any show with that has Neil Perry as a headliner is bound to fail. The bloke is an out and out wanker, which Australians are usually very good at spotting.

I've seen the ad and must say it looks like an absolute insult to the original. The bloke who came about 4th on Masterchef who only cooked beef cheeks and the parts of animals you normally don't eat, who didn't do it well anyway is one of the guys up against the "Iron Chefs" of Oz. You're kidding?
Can Australia do nothing but bastardize Tv shows from overseas? Have we ever done any remake of an original show any good?
Time to get out into the garden I think.
