Can't help but agree with Spida Everitt, it's about time these chicks who chase footballers for a living take some responsibility. I know we don't know all the facts, and I'm certainly not advocating gang rape, but women need stop putting themselves in positions that could quickly become out of their control. Footballers are people, they're not priests, they're not eunuchs. Some are bad, some are good, but you're not going to know that until you're off your face at 3 in the morning with a room full of them.

I agree with Spida in this situation. There is an element of women who will gravitate to sports clubs of all sorts and all levels, and simply hang out and around the players in such establishments because for no greater reason than the fact these guys are generally muscly as a rule, and in the case of AFL footballers, generally very well paid.
A little like that Washington chick who accompanied Iron Mike Tyson to his hotel room late at night, it's hard to fathom that she could imagine that he had any other motive for suggesting such a venue and time than the obvious. I know of a couple of women at least who upon meeting someone at a nightclub or such would willingly be entertained by that someone at either her own place or his.
Tyson was convicted of rape and served 3 years from memory, but surely if Washington was indeed wanting to see a bloke's stamp album for play Monopoly or Ludo, there are clubs and other venues that are more appropriate than some big sportman's house in the early hours of the morning.
It is never right for a bloke to force himself on a woman against her wishes, but i seriously doubt that any woman who hangs around sportsmen at nightclubs and other venues socially with that particular set can be doing so without a fair idea of what the consequences are likely to be.
