I had 2 things were reinforced to me on the weekend, Matthew Lloyd, for all his nice guy, boring-ass talk is a thug and Dermott Brereton is still a fuckwit. Lloyd's hit on Brad Sewell was weak and he deserves everything he gets, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if he retires on the back of it. Word on the street is Channel 7 have offered him a deal to join in Friday night footy to replace Bucks. It's hard enough to stay up to 11.30pm on a normal Friday without Mr Personality himself lending his boringness to the call.
Brereton said on SEN that he called Lloyd and "Matthew, what you did was extraordinary' .Things aren't going as well as you'd like, and you're going to find it hard to get off whatever's coming your way'.'But be proud of what you did. I think you're a champion bloke as well as a champion player, so keep your head up high'.
We now have a new term for a pair of cocks - a DermieLloyd

He deserved a few weeks but it was a hardly a king hit - which is something that Dermie would be proud of and is a long held Hawthorn quality.
Brown calling anyone a sniper is hypocrisy at it's worst!
Brown's comments were made straight after the match when his passion was running high. He doesn't censor himself on or off the field and his honesty with his feelings should be commended and encouraged amongst the rest of the football fraternity. Having said that his comments were certainly OTT and I would hope that given some thought he might change what he said.
It is a little bit 'Pot calling the kettle black'. Although in this instance the kettle thinks its pristine white.
