FREE SPORT ON TV

I keep seeing these ads for Free Sport asking me to sign a petition to 'keep sport on TV free'. I'd like sport on free TV as much as the next bloke, but I'm dead against our current networks buying the rights for sports, then not even showing them. I signed the petition, but added a note saying if the networks get their way and have first option on the major sports, they must be forced to show them when they acquire the rights.
